Jim Kuntz began his investment advisory career in 1982 as a financial consultant with EF Hutton. Jim and his partner Mark Hill founded Pacific Wealth Management® in 1998. They created their own company to provide high-net worth clients with superior service, independent research, and a proven proprietary asset management system that preserves and grows client wealth.
As co-founder of Pacific Wealth Management, Jim brings a disciplined and proven focus on wealth preservation to high-net-worth clients around the world. In addition to specializing in financial and retirement strategies for affluent investors, Jim leads the firm’s investment research and due diligence efforts. An acknowledged expert in the investment management consulting industry, Jim works with owners of privately held businesses and foundations, along with executive officers of public corporations, placing a strong emphasis on investment risk management and fiduciary education.
Jim is a graduate of Rutgers University with a bachelor’s degree in finance and business. He earned the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designation from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business through the Investment Management Consultants Association. Jim has passed the FINRA Series 3, 7, 8, 63 and 65 financial services examinations, and holds a Life and Disability insurance license from the State of California.
